  • Edon Zherka, MA, RCC

    Edon Zherka is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and psychological first aid provider whose counselling work integrates emotional, physiological and social avenues to achieve lasting positive change.

    He supports those struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma and PTSD, eating disorders, self-esteem issues, co-dependency, life transitions, emotion regulation, stress management, attachment disorders and men’s issues.

    Edon has worked with youth, immigrant and indigenous groups. With lived experience as a POC he brings an added element of understanding, recognizing the important, yet often difficult, demands placed by family and culture and jointly seeks ways to balance such needs.

    He holds a BA in Psychology from the University of British Columbia (UBC) as well as a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

    Edon incorporates cognitive and dialectical behavioural approaches in conjunction with somatic strategies to break and replace self-defeating thoughts and emotions.
